Health & Safety

The health and safety of our employees and contractors is of critical importance to Alcyone’s business activities, and the Company is committed to conducting its operations in a manner that will prevent injuries to its employees. Employees and contractors are encouraged to maintain a constant focus on Health & Safety procedures, and receive regular training to maintain their skills.

Environment

Alcyone Resources regards environmental care as an integral part of our business and we are committed to excellence in the management of environmental matters. We aim to minimise environmental impacts at every stage throughout the exploration and mining process. We are committed to:

Complying with all applicable laws, regulations and standards as a minimum requirement;
Maintaining an all-encompassing Environmental Management Plan;
Undertaking consultation to ensure that community interests are considered;
Developing safeguards and contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts;
Monitoring our ongoing activities and working to continually improve performance; and
Promoting environmental awareness to all staff and contractors to increase understanding of the Company’s environmental responsibilities.
